What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and makes no network connections of its own — it works offline. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. No personal information ever leaves your device.

How the app works

You pick an occasion, pick a card design, and type your own greeting. The card is drawn on your device and shared through your system's own share sheet. The finished image is written to the app's temporary cache folder and handed to the operating system so you can send it; nothing you create is kept, and there is no library of your past cards anywhere.

Permissions

The app requests none. The Pro photo card uses your system's own photo picker — PHPickerViewController on iOS and the Photo Picker on Android — which passes along only the single image you choose. Neither the app nor we can see the rest of your photo library, and no photo-library permission prompt appears. The photo you pick is drawn into your card on your device and is never uploaded. The same is true of a signature you draw with your finger.

What is stored on your device

Four small things, in your device's local storage, and none of them leave it: your chosen language, whether the Pro purchase is unlocked, and a record of which card designs you have already sent — so the app can open on one you have not. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Purchases

Igeret offers a single optional one-time in-app purchase, Igeret Pro, which unlocks every card design, a card carrying your own photo, a handwritten signature, and a print-resolution PDF export. Purchases and restores are handled entirely by the app store — StoreKit on iOS — and we do not receive or store your payment information. The app holds your unlock status only on your own device, and asks the store again on each launch. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third parties

There are no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, and no data sharing of any kind. Once you share a card, the app you send it through — a messaging app, for example — is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not ours.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
