Open source · App Store Reviews to Telegram

Every new review of your app, in Telegram

A web dashboard and Telegram bot that track the reviews, ratings and downloads of your Mac and iOS apps. It checks the App Store on a schedule, keeps every review in a local database, and messages you the moment a new one is posted. Self-hosted: your App Store Connect key and your bot token never leave your server.

What it does

The store's feedback, without opening the store

A message for every new review

It checks the App Store every hour by default (the interval is yours to change), and sends each new review to your chat: the app's icon, the stars, the author, the version and the full text.

A summary when you ask

Type /apps to the bot, or press Send Summary on the dashboard: every app with its average rating and review count, and a button per app that replies with its last five reviews.

Downloads, over thirty days

With an App Store Connect key that has sales access and your vendor number, each app also shows its first-time downloads from the last 30 days, on the dashboard and in the summary.

Two ways to read the store

Apple's public feeds need only your developer name and the countries to watch. The App Store Connect API covers every region by itself, and also shows apps that are not live yet.

A dashboard in the browser

A card per app, every saved review one click away, and all the settings (data source, key, bot) configured in the page rather than in files.

Behind a password, if you want one

Turn on a username and password from the Security tab, and the dashboard and its API answer only after a login.

Install

Docker, or Node.js

Docker (recommended)
git clone https://github.com/yybd/app-store-reviews-to-telegram.git
cd app-store-reviews-to-telegram
docker compose up -d --build
# then open http://localhost:3000
Node.js 18 or newer
git clone https://github.com/yybd/app-store-reviews-to-telegram.git
cd app-store-reviews-to-telegram
npm install
npm start

The database and settings live in ./data, which Docker mounts as a volume, so they survive restarts and rebuilds. Then open Settings in the dashboard, give it a bot token from @BotFather and your chat ID, and choose a data source. The README walks through creating the App Store Connect key.

Good to know

What Apple's data allows

  • The public feeds are unofficial and unreliable. Apple's RSS often returns nothing for very large apps. For stable numbers, use the App Store Connect API.
  • Downloads lag by about a day. They come from Apple's sales reports, which have no same-day figure.
  • Download counts need the right key. A key with only App Manager or Developer access reads reviews, but not sales; the download line then simply does not appear.
